The Republic (2008)

2008 – THE REPUBLIC, organized on the 90th anniversary of the creation of Czechoslovakia, was held in the historical building of the National Museum in Prague

The seasonal exhibition, which was installed throughout the entire museum building, included numerous multivision displays showing period films, as well as a replica of a movie theater from the First Republic.

The exhibition was accompanied by various cultural events. The opening reception, directed by Pavel Štingl (also the author of the accompanying program) featured a film consisting of archival materials showing the transformation of Wenceslaus Square since the founding of the republic.
